notes Fruiting inflorescence. Elevation: ca. 6,750 feet. 2:54 pm. This taxon is a hybrid between P. fremontii and P. angustifolia and there are many intergrades between the parent taxa. This specimen is in the range of the hybrids. On this same day, I photographed a specimen which was closer to P. angustifolia, about a half mile away, and it is also shown in this CalPhotos collection.camera Olympus E-300 Evolt SLR digital camera
