  • notes   Growing upright in a field much used as a parking area. Plants were congested, intermingled also with grasses. Jepson Manual 1993 describes habit as prostrate, but the ones in the congested field were erect. Nearby, on a bare dirt road shoulder, the plants were quite prostrate.
