Henry W. Coe State Park: View from Robinson Mountain in the Orestimba Wilderness. (Stanislaus County, California, US)species associated with this habitat: Pinus sabiniana Quercus douglasii Adenostoma fasciculatum notes Officially known in Sacramento as Henry W. Coe State Wilderness, the Orestimba Wilderness (as called by field staff) is managed as part of Henry W. Coe State Park. Robinson Mountain is the in the heart of this area, and has an elevation of 2656 feet. Chamise (Adenostoma fasciculatum) is the abundant shrub with an occasional gray pine (Pinus sabiniana) and more frequent blue oaks (Quercus douglasii) dominant over the grassy areas. Most of the distant ridges in this view to the southwest are still within park boundaries.camera 35 mm., Yashica Electro 35; f:11
