notes Habitat and habit of Dedeckera (shrub covered with small yellow flowers). This is a rare and unusual monotypic Eriogonum relative. Although there are > 30 plants visible in the photo, I've read that little or no recruitment of new plants has been observed for Dedeckera...but perhaps more recent findings exist with better news here, I don't know.camera Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f16, 1/60, ISO 100, using a Canon 50mm Compact macro lens.
