habitat Mature cloud forest; on the leaf litter.notes Esta es una hembra de C. epiotica. Hembras adultas de esta especie alcanzan mayores tamaños que los machos. Fue hallada activa sobre la hojarasca del suelo. El sitio esta aproximadamente a 800 m del cauce de agua mas cercano. Machos y hembras activos (5 individuos) fueron encontrados en el mismo lugar (en aproximadamente 40 m2). La fotografia es parte del proyecto PILA-Darwin: Herramientas basicas para el manejo del Parque Internacional La Amistad ('Darwin Initiative', numero de beca 15/027: 'Baseline tools for management in P.I. La Amistad (Costa Rica/Panama)'), del Museo de Historia Natural de Londres y la Universidad de Costa Rica. //// This is a female of C. epiotica. Adult females of this species reach larger sizes than males. It was found active on the leaf litter. The place is about 800 m from closer course of water.Active males and females (5 individuals) were found in the same place (in about 40 m2). The picture is part of the PILA-Darwin Project ('Darwin Initiative' 15/027: 'Baseline tools for management in P.I.
