  • family Liliaceae
  • notes   Obtained from Mt Cuba Center, Delaware, thru a trade. This lily is variable in its color (yellow, orange or red or combi thereof) and spotting size and number. Height is 2-3' with 1-4 flowers. It likes well-drained soil and blooms late in the season in Washington State, as I took the photo october 17. It is the only eastern US species with a mildly sweet fragrance.
