  • location   South Fork Eel River in John B. Dewitt Redwoods State Reserve, near Redway, CA (Humboldt County, California, US)
  • habitat  Freshwater creek draining onto a river bar in a mixed forest of redwood, tanoak and Douglas fir. This Pacific treefrog habitat.
  • species associated with this habitat: Pseudacris regilla    Lutra canadensis    Mustela vison    Taricha granulosa  
  • notes   There was a creek that ran down the hill and out onto the river bar before going subterranean. It was excellent frog habitat. Many other species also live here.
