  • notes   A close relative of the well-known Ocotillo from southern California's deserts. This plant is relatively common in central and southern Baja California. It has tree-like growth patterns, having a 'trunk' and branches that grow up to 2 meters high. There are usually at least a few flowers open and thus they are an important source of nectar for migrating hummingbirds.
