notes Detail of heads and stem with characteristic leaf fascicles. These fascicles typically have 5-7 arching linear leaves appressed against one another in a planar, ascending-fan shape...filling the rough outline of a quarter of a circular disk. They're often quite two-ranked (i.e. alternating in roughly perpendicular planes as you move along the stem).camera Shot with a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f11, 1/100, ISO 100, with fill flash, using a Canon 100mm macro lens.
