  • notes   Skeletal muscle, longitudinal section, H&E stain. Taken at 10x. IB 131L slide #10. Muscle cells are stained pink, nuclei are stained dark pink-purple. The darker pink bands on the muscle cells are areas where extra stain collected, and should not be confused with the intercalated discs of cardiac muscle.
