  • notes   I witnessed it cracking open a pine cone on a white bark pine tree. This tree depends on the Clark's Nutcracker to spread it's seeds, it's pine cones never fall to the ground. I tried opening a pine cone myself, but I lack the strength of this birds beak and I chipped a tooth (not really).
