notes D. nevadensis is an uncommon endemic of the south-central Sierras (closely related to D. formosa?). The other plant in the photo looks like Minuartia nuttallii...but that's just a guess.camera Shot on a Canon Digital Rebel XT at f16, 1/125, ISO 100 using a Quantaray 24mm macro lens.
