  • notes   A steep south-facing meadow at ~1850' elevation; Canyon Live Oak, Digger Pine, and California Bay Laurel prominent tree species nearby. The Purple Milkweed is not common here; this is the only location I observed for a mile up or down the North Fork canyon.
