habitat cloud forestnotes This very rare species is known from only two specimens, the one adult photographed which later escaped, and the juvenile holotype. This is the most striking member of this large genus and was found in an isolated cloud forest fragment in northern Huehuetenango, Guatemala, where on the same day two other new species, that were later placed in two genera, were discovered.photo category: Animal - Amphibian
