| Reviewer's comments: | | | "This beauty is an adult Ferruginous Hawk, told by the massive head, the visible yellow "lip" -- the edge of the gape -- below the eye, and told adult by the mottled rich-rust on the back, the origin of the word, "ferruginous." A Northern Harrier has a diminutive head and bill with a distinct owl-like facial disc." |
