  • habitat  Large, turbid playa pool within grazed foothill grassland.
  • notes   Metamorphosing spadefoot larvae. Spades on hind feet developed. Front legs developed, but remain under the abraded, translucent skin surface. Notice the protuberances where front limb buds would emerge. Total length ~75mm. SUL is ~25mm.
