location Van Damme State Park (Mendocino County, California, US)family Plethodontidaehabitat Mixed Evergreen Forestnotes Brown above with yellow on upper legs; whitish-yellow below with extremely fine gray speckling, underside of tail brighter yellow. Measured: SVL 50 mm (2 in.), TL 89 mm (3½ in.). Found under timber, beneath bark of fallen trees, and crawling exposed when lantern-walking Fern Canyon Trail at night.photo category: Animal - Amphibian
