  • notes   This specimen was photographed overnight while hiding within a hole in the wall of the canyon, in the Isalo Park. It is outsdanding to note how these frogs - apparently with a fossorial morphology - are able to become scansorial and climb vertical surfaces. Then they hide within the small holes provoked by the loss of the chalks in the karstic matrix.
