location Northeast slope of Mt. Kobariški Stol ridge, lower Drnohla place, lower abandoned forest road, East Julian Alps (Posočje, Slovenia)notes Slo.: zbledela črnivka - Habitat: Cold northeast inclined and steep mountain slope, mixed forest, predominantly Fagus sylvatica, calcareous ground, in shade, protected from direct rain by three canopies, average precipitations ~ 3,000 mm/year, average temperature 7-9 deg C, elevations 820 m (2,700 feet), alpine phytogeographical region. - Substratum: a thick layer of rotten leaves with some wood debris. - Comment: Growing in a small group. Spore print dark brown. Taste and smell pleasant and indistinctively 'mushroomy'. Hygrophanous and with hollow stem. Spore dimensions: 7,7 (SD = 0,4) x 4,4 (SD = 0,2) micr., Q = 1,77 (SD = 0,10), n = 30.
