notes Feeding on composite flower. Shortly after this image was taken, and while I was waiting for the butterfly to alight so I could get a better image, it flew in circles over the road until a pickup came along and swept it up--possibly installed on the truck's grill. Elevation ca. 7,925 feet. 7:11 pm.
