  • notes   Identified with the help of Kathy Schick and Cynipid Galls of the Eastern United States by Lewis H. Weld (1959). Gall is about 4mm in diameter and can occur on both sides of a leaf on secondary veins. On Quercus macrocarpa (bur oak, mossy cup oak).
