  • habitat  this in a small pond near edge of Mallard Slough and Stikine River Area Tidal Flats
  • notes   This specimen is being held along a tape with inches and cm scales; it was taken in a baited wire-mesh funnel trap in a small pond along Mallard Slough; area is an expanse of Sedge (Carex) flats and coastal spruce-alder forest adjacent to tidal flats. Many Rana breeding micro-sites were observed in this area and an adjacent area north at Cheliped Bay that summer by myself and Robert Claire.
