  • location  Cigarette Hills, 1.4 miles west of Scissors Crossing on Hwy 78. (San Diego County, California, US)
  • notes   This seemed like a good year for Agave deserti blooms. (There are over 40 plants blooming in the background of the photo.) I saw a high density of flowering stalks in many parts of San Diego county.
  • camera   Shot on a Canon D60 at f16, 1/60 sec, ISO 100 with a Canon 50mm Canon Compact macro lens.
