  • plant community   along streamside trail in a humid, temperate woodland cloud forest on open exposed black basaltic lava flow in narrow canyon bottom between two very large conical volcanic mountains at -41.17031,-72.44925 Elv. 530' (161m)
  • notes   a relatively tall, stout stemmed,tuberous terrestrial species. Very showy native of southern regions of Chile and Argentina. SYN: Chloraea virescens.
