in alluvial sand dunes with Monte vegetation (9.06 km E, 6.77 km N Piedra del Águila, Neuquén Prov.), 460 m elevation (Pilcaniyeu, Río Negro, Argentina)species associated with this habitat: Larrea divaricata Brachistosternus angustimanus notes At night, scorpions (Brachistosternus angustimanus) were abundant in these dunes. There were located using a flashlight that had ultraviolet LEDs, sitting quietly in the open, away from the base of the Larrea bushes.keywords: Sand dunes, Monte vegetation, Brachistosternus habitat
