| Reviewer's comments: | | | "Some of the Gnaphaliums, particularly G. californicum, are frequently mistaken for Anaphalis, which was the case here. This is definitely Gnaphalium, probably G. californicum, as close inspection of the stems and leaves will show. (Anaphalis leaves have a stiffer, more spreading appearance, and the stems are pale or white.) The broader leaved associate in the photo is Eriodictyon. " |
