  • plant community   creek riparian corrider in pine-oak-juniper woodland at 2210m.
  • notes   rare, stunningly beautiful plant worthy of cultivation.Plants often damaged by adjacent road grading but, largely due to a semi-rhizomatous nature, persist among rocky rhyolitic tuff debris pushed to roadside along creek in narrow canyon bottom at 29:06'37.2'N -108:11'50.5'W.
