plant community Montane meadow-like habitat in montane mixed coniferous forest. Moist, loamy soil with moderate leaf litter/organic content.notes An electrophoresis analysis by Dr. Donald Farrar concluded that this taxon may be a hybrid of B. paradoxum X B. minganense, and that the morphology also suggests this since one of the 'sporophore' segments has somewhat expanded pinnae (pers. comm. between D. Farrar and J. Clines 2012).contributor's ID # BotrychiumParadoxum_1774crCP.jpg photo category: Plant - annual/perennial
