Calochortus elegans (cat's ear) |
Calochortus subalpinus (Subalpine Mariposa Lily) | This is a group of Calochortus that is difficult to separate. However, this photograph is at significant variance with all others identified for this species. The correct identification, Calochortus subalpinus, is a species which overlaps the rangeof C. elegans but is quite distinctive in coloring and petal shape. This species does not occur in California. |
