Plestiodon skiltonianus (Western Skink) |
| Both Plestiodon skiltonianus and P. gilberti have blue tails. In addition to vague morphological features, the location (Tuolume Co.) suggests this is P. gilberti and not P. skiltonianus. Simply put, this location is beyond that of P. skitonianus. This is a nice shot, and I hope to see more herp pictures, especially if you're finding them in California. Cheers— Will. |
