Datura inoxia (Jimsonweed) |
Datura wrightii | This represents Datura wrightii in which the style is longer than the anthers and the corolla rim is not "ten" toothed. Datura inoxia is a native of southeastern Mexico, it is never found wild in California, only in gardens. The D. inoxia discrepancy is the result of Sesse & Mociño’s interpretation of the later named "Datura meteloides," which was deCandolle’s faulty attempt to name D. wrightii. |
