Arctostaphylos stanfordiana ssp. decumbens (Rincon Manzanita) |
Arctostaphylos sp. (Manzanita) | I don't believe this is Arctostaphylos stanfordiana ssp. decumbens. I am not very familiar with this species, but the Jepson Manual 2 states "Leaf: glabrous, petiole 4–8 mm" |

Arctostaphylos stanfordiana ssp. decumbens (Rincon Ridge manzanita) | The photo in question was taken at CNPS-managed Southridge Preserve in Santa Rosa by me and should be accurate as these plants were planted by CNPS for the specific purpose of preserving this species. While the leaves do exhibit some pubescence, I do not think this is the best character to rely on for identifying this species. |
