Lilium humboldtii ssp. humboldtii |
Lilium humboldtii ssp. ocellatum (Humboldt's Lily, Ocellated Humboldt Lily) | The large aureolated spots coalescing toward the tips of the perianth segments confirm the southern subspecies in this crisp closeup. The locality (Humboldt Co., north of Arcata) cannot be correct as given unless this is a cultivated specimen; there is no L. humboldtii in the North Coast Ranges. |
